Paolo is on trial at a call center. He has just one phone call to convince elderly Nando to hand over his credit card details. Starring Giorgio Cantarini (the young Giosuè in Life is Beautiful, Gladiator, Comandante) and Pino Calabrese (The Unknown Woman, Diaz – Don’t Clean Up This Blood, Other Fathers), the short film delicately and tensely explores the theme of phone scams targeting the elderly, touching on loneliness, vulnerability, and the dignity of work-even when that work weighs heavily on one’s conscience.
