Italian Comedy Festival

Los Angeles, CA – April 20, 2024 – The Italian Comedy Fest comes to Los Angeles on April 30 at the Let Live Theatre. The festival will bring together some of the best talents from 14 countries around the world.

After a widespread success in Italy, becoming a must-attend event for comedy lovers across the country, the ICF is set to make its mark on the entertainment capital of the world.

“We are thrilled to bring the Italian Comedy Fest to Los Angeles and to showcase the incredible talent that exists within the international comedy community,” said Gianfranco Terrin, actor and founder of the festival. “This event is a testament to the power of laughter to bring people together and to transcend cultural boundaries. We can’t wait to share the joy of comedy with audiences in Los Angeles.“

The Italian Comedy Fest promises not only laughter but also serves as a platform for cultural exchange, embodying the spirit of unity through humor.

One of the new additions to this year’s festival is the introduction of the “Young Jury Prize,” a prestigious accolade bestowed by the discerning students of the “Master of TV and Cinema Program” at the University “Suor Orsola Benincasa” in Naples. 

The Ceremony in Los Angeles will be hosted by Terrin, and Venezuelan actress Daniela Azuaje. Joining them will be keyboard player Chris Glick, while the opening act will feature Peruvian comedian Luz Pazos delivering a stand-up set to kick off.

Among the highlights of the festival in Los Angeles will be the recognition of industry professionals who have made significant contributions to the Arts, in front and beyond the camera. This year, the festival will honor the illustrious careers of two outstanding artists: Sonia Blangiardo and Ian Fisher.
