The Italian Comedy Festival Hollywood 4.0 closing night promises to be a perfect blend of both laughter and celebration of Italian and International Culture. This year, the Stand-Up Comedy Special will kick off the evening by opening the Closing Night Award Ceremony, setting the stage with humor before honoring some of the brightest voices in international comedy.
The evening will be introduced by the festival’s Artistic Director, Gianfranco Terrin, who has been the driving force behind the festival’s vision of uniting Italian and international voices through comedy.
Following the introduction, the stage will be handed over to host Rob Johnston, who will guide audiences through a lineup of standout performers: Lauren Caputo, Elle Creedon, Brandon Goins, Joanne Scorcia.
Comics on this lineup have been seen at The Ice House, Laugh Factory, The Hollywood Improv, & The Comedy Store.
Joanne Scorcia is headlining. She’s originally from NYC. Joanne started doing stand up years ago at her cousin Chris Mazzilli’s club Gotham Comedy Club. She just headlined for her birthday show that sold out at The Ice House. You can see Joanne all over town and she also produces stand up shows called The D-Cups of Comedy & Mob Comics.
With such a fun and diverse lineup, the Stand-Up Comedy Special is the perfect kick-off for the awards night. It’s everything the festival is about—different cultures, fresh perspectives, and unique styles all coming together on one stage, proving that comedy really does speak to everyone.
