Director Statement
As soon as I read the script for Frustrada, I was excited to join the project. The idea of exploring female sexuality in a funny and light-hearted way was something I wanted to do. The story of Kat and her friends is a great vehicle to not only explore sexuality but also mental health, love and friendships in modern Los Angeles. It’s an ideal way to continue to bring diversity and inclusion to the screen.
